TENGAPO

Cookie Policy

What cookies we use and why — in plain language.

Last updated: 1 April 2026

Tengapo uses a minimal number of cookies — only those strictly necessary to make the platform function. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics cookies that follow you around the web.

What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file stored in your browser by a website. Cookies allow websites to remember information about your visit — such as whether you are logged in — between page loads.

Cookies we use

tengapo_sessionEssential

Keeps you logged in during your session

Duration: 30 minutes (inactivity)

tengapo_csrfEssential

Protects against cross-site request forgery attacks

Duration: Session

__next_localeFunctional

Remembers your language preference if set

Duration: 1 year

What we do NOT use

  • Google Analytics or any third-party analytics tracking
  • Facebook Pixel or advertising tracking of any kind
  • Cross-site tracking cookies
  • Persistent login cookies (we use session-based auth only)
  • Any cookie that identifies you for advertising purposes

Managing cookies

You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Note that disabling essential cookies will prevent Tengapo from functioning correctly — you will not be able to stay logged in.

Most browsers allow you to: block all cookies, block third-party cookies only, clear cookies on browser close, and review cookies set by specific websites.

Changes

If we add any new cookies, we will update this policy and notify users as appropriate. Our commitment is to never introduce tracking or advertising cookies without explicit user consent.
